A gentler, friendlier notebook

A gentler, friendlier notebook
No lines. No grid. Just blank pages that change color as the week unfolds.

Why color?

There's something about opening to a fresh page and finding a soft wash of color waiting for you. It's not loud. It doesn't demand anything. It just... welcomes you in.

We designed Matiz Color for the moments when you want to write, sketch, or think without structure getting in the way. The pale hues are gentle enough to disappear under your ink or pencil, but present enough to make each page feel intentional.

A week in color

The seven-page cycle isn't random, it's designed to mirror your week. After a few days, you start to associate colors with rhythms. Wednesday's page starts to feel like Wednesday. There's a quiet satisfaction in that.

Some people use it for morning pages. Others for weekly planning, one color per day. Some just like that their notebook has a pulse, a gentle progression that makes time feel less like a blur.

And if you need more structure, just drop in a planner page and see your calendar appointments for that day.

Part of the Matiz family

Matiz Color joins Matiz Ruled and Matiz Grid: three books, three ways to work. Same soft aesthetic, different structures for different needs:

  • Matiz Ruled: When you want lines to guide your writing
  • Matiz Grid: When you want structure for sketches or layouts
  • Matiz Color: When you want space and a little warmth

The kind of notebook you actually want to open every morning

That was the goal, not productivity theater, and not another tool to optimize your life. Just a notebook that feels good to use.

Matiz Color is available now in the latest Penbook update.
